About Sophealidet
As a teacher, I strive to engage, inspire, and challenge my students. My goal is to evoke in students the same excitement of discovery and achievement that I feel as a musician. Watching them grow in their love and ability to express themselves with music brings me great joy. In my experience, I am keenly aware that each student has his/her own particular brand of genius. It is the teacher’s job to find that genius and nurture it. I provide a safe and welcoming environment where students can learn and grow; an environment where students are not only free to be themselves, but are also free to make mistakes. Different learning styles are accommodated depending upon the students’ needs. Lessons focus on the development of strong technique and musical skills, including an understanding of music theory, and how to apply these principles in the students’ own practice.

I specialize in piano instruction for students of all ages, from four years old to adults. My expertise includes music theory, harmony, and engaging musical games. Lessons are customized to each student's individual age and abilities to learn. I am available to teach at the student's home or at my place.
For at-home lessons, students must provide their own instrument and a dedicated study space. All other necessary materials, including books and pencils, will be supplied. For more information, please feel free to contact me and get your first 30-minute lesson free.
