About Tara
I love sociology and enjoy showing students how sociology isn't just one of those BS classes you need to take but rather how everyone lives sociology every day. Most students take the class because "it is required." I have heard this many times over the years, I want to be able to show you how every career choice involves sociology. How it can help you in your chosen field understanding society and how it works.

I can provide real life examples to emphasize sociology concepts and ideas. I do use PowerPoints and add to the PowerPoints to encourage students to think outside the box and use critical thinking skills. I also have recorded lessons so students can re-listen to previous lessons. I always incorporate popular culture whenever possible to help students understand based on current fads. I have received positive feedback from my past college students.
