About Danny

As a professional freelance Graphic Designer and Motion Designer, I love the career I've built, and I've become passionate about helping others develop the creative skills and confidence needed to achieve their goals. I understand that every student learns differently, as I have done over the years, from formal university education to learning on the job in the industry. I create a supportive, patient and encouraging environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes and grow at your own pace.

My teaching is built around real industry experience, practical projects and honest, constructive feedback. Whether you're learning for a new career, preparing a portfolio, improving your Adobe Creative Cloud skills or simply exploring graphic design as a hobby, you can expect well-structured lessons that are tailored to your needs and focused on delivering real progress.

About the lesson

I believe the best way to learn graphic design is by creating, experimenting and receiving constructive feedback. Every lesson is tailored to your individual goals, whether you're learning Adobe Creative Cloud for the first time, building a portfolio, preparing for university, or developing the skills needed to work professionally. Rather than simply following tutorials, we'll work on real-world projects that help you understand the principles behind great design and build confidence using industry-standard tools.

Lessons are typically **60 minutes**, although longer sessions can be arranged for more in-depth projects or portfolio reviews. During each lesson we'll focus on practical learning, problem-solving and developing creative thinking, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and receive personalised feedback. I'll also recommend exercises and resources to help you continue improving between lessons.

As a professional freelance Graphic Designer and Motion Designer, I've worked with clients across a wide range of industries, producing branding, print, digital design, marketing campaigns, animation and motion graphics. This commercial experience allows me to teach the skills, workflows and best practices that are used in the industry today, giving students valuable insight beyond the software itself.

My lessons are suitable for beginners through to advanced learners, including secondary school and college students, university students, aspiring designers, freelancers and professionals looking to improve their creative skills. Whether you're just starting your design journey or looking to take your work to the next level, I'll create a learning plan that's tailored specifically to you and your ambitions.
