About Olga

Hello, my name is Olga, and I am a dedicated educator with 15 years of experience in early childhood education and teaching Greek as a foreign language. I am currently living in Athens, where I continue to explore new opportunities to share the beauty of the Greek language and culture with others. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with children in kindergartens and the last two years, as a teacher of Greek to foreigners. I believe in creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and personal growth. My teaching philosophy revolves around tailoring lessons to meet the needs of my students. In addition to my experience as a preschool teacher, I am passionate about providing Greek language lessons to foreigners. I have worked with a diverse range of adult students, helping them improve their communication skills while also deepening their understanding of Greek culture. Whether in the classroom or through online lessons, I am committed to ensuring that every student feels supported and motivated to succeed. I am always eager to continue developing my skills and knowledge in both early childhood education and language teaching, embracing new methodologies and technologies that can enhance the learning experience.

About the lesson

My lessons are primarily aimed at adults who either visit Greece often or plan to visit and want to feel more connected to the Greek mentality. Additionally, I work with individuals who are planning to move to Greece and need to learn the language from scratch, with the goal of obtaining certification. I have 15 years of experience in Greek kindergarten schools, having worked in Crete, Chios, and Athens.
For the past two years, I have been teaching Greek to foreigners, mainly to immigrants in my neighbourhood in Athens. I am passionate about helping my students gain confidence in their language abilities and develop a greater understanding of Greek culture.
I aim to create engaging, interactive lessons that cater to each student’s needs and goals, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.
