About Miya

Hi, my name is Miya, I grew up in Tokyo, Japan, and came to the UK to study biology at theUniversity of Warwick. While at Warwick I was president of the Japanese Society and led workshops introducing people to the Japanese culture and language. I can’t wait to share my love for the Japanese language with you!

About the lesson

With extensive experience teaching while at university, I cater to all proficiency levels. Join me to brush up your conversation skills, or if you’re interested in trying out a new language!

For beginners I have made my own workshops for learning the alphabets and introductions to basic sentence structure. As we work together we can progress to working having conversations together, building your confidence in your language skills.
