About Liam
I am a student at Griffith university doing a duel degree in Commerce and Asian studies with my language of choice being Japanese. I have been studying Japanese since I was 8 so that would be roughly 10 years now. I have never formally given lessons before however I often help tutor my peers during exam time so I do a some experience.

Being somewhat new at this my method of teaching will resemble the way in which I was taught, using stories to help remember new or difficult hiragana/kanji, using games to assist memorisation and so on. I find that using the "repeat after me" style a little old fashioned and it never helped me study or understand any of the concepts, so I will try to incorporate a little bit of fun and enjoyment into my lessons to help encourage my students to get better and study more.
