About Ida Mangohamster

Hi, my name's Ida. I really enjoy traveling and learning languages. I've been learning languages for more than 15 years including English, Italian, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Cantonese, and others.
I have traveled to some places in Europe, Asia, and America. I really love Japan, Korean, and Hong Kong's culture, history, and politics.
I've taken a 240-hour specialization in Asia culture, politics, history, and religion: East and Southeast Asia, Middle East, and ASEAN.
Among my hobbies are reading, swimming, and water sports.

I have a B.A. in Modern Languages, Italian, and Literature with a specialization in Linguistics and Translation from UNAM National Autonomous University of Mexico 2014-2019

I possess a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Cambridge 2020. During this 120-hour course, I learned lesson planning, teaching materials creation, assessment, and the appropriate use of Zoom for teaching individuals and groups.

From 2020-2022 I took DIAPELE (Advanced Diploma in Teaching Spanish for Foreigners by UNAM National Autonomous University of Mexico. During this 260-hour course, I had real practice with students from different countries and I learned teaching methodology, linguistics, communication, culture, and evaluation. That means that I'm prepared to teach culture and history from Mexico, and I can choose the best approach to teach each student according to their own needs and level.

I have experience teaching online and face-to-face students of different ages: kids, teenagers, and adults. I also have experience teaching different specialized courses, such as Medical Spanish, Business English, DELE, SIELE, IELTS preparation, kids' lessons, culture, and history.

About the lesson

8-week GROUP lessons are 300 USD and will start in June.
The lessons are 90 minutes per week.

We will offer the following group lessons:

⫷ OBJECTIVES ⫸
This is a General Spanish course based on the Official Textbooks by the Common European framework. You will learn basic Spanish for communication. At the same time, you will practice reading, grammar, listening, writing, and speaking.

A small part of the lesson will dedicate to practicing conversation and speaking through different activities: free talk, roleplaying situational dialogues, discussions, debates, controlled practice/free practice, storytelling, picture description, Q&A, and speaking games...

𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨
Authentic materials and real-world examples will be provided occasionally during the lesson to reinforce and enhance your learning process. This will allow you to review the grammar and the vocabulary acquired.

❧ Cancelling and rescheduling are not possible in group lessons.
❈ We need a minimum of 5 students to open the course.
❧ Homework, doubts, writing tasks, and exams will be checked during the lesson time.
❈ Recording the lessons is strictly prohibited.
❧ Lessons include 10 min breaks and are 100% in the target language.
❈ You need to pay for the whole course in advance in order to be able to participate in the course.
