About Edna
Starting our first session involves picking up the guitar to see what sounds resonate with your current level of skill. We will look at grade exam prep or songwriting while integrating chord transitions and improvisation techniques. It is simple.
My lessons act as a bridge between your goals and my formal training at AIM. We find a rhythm that works for you. Just bring your guitar and a curious mindset to the studio.

Teaching guitar feels like passing down a language, which is why I share the rhythms of bolero, flamenco, and chacarera. Having graduated with a BM Contemporary Music from AIM, I focus on helping teens, hobbyists, adults, and working professionals find their own unique musical voice through 13 years of dedicated practice. My perspective is that of a young Latin-Australian player who understands the balance between technical precision and raw cultural expression.
I have had the privilege of guiding 450 students through the complexities of the fretboard while keeping the spirit of these traditions alive. Whether we are discussing tuning, maintenance, or complex blues progressions, the goal remains the same. I want my students to connect with their instruments on a deeper level. Sometimes, I still play those old folk songs on my porch just to remember why I started.
