About Madie
The vibration of steel strings against my fingertips remains the most grounded feeling I know after 13 years of teaching. I hold a BMus in Guitar Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music which informs my deep focus on scales, modes, and music theory. My work spans from guiding total novices through power chords to helping advanced players refine their improvisation, soloing, and ear training.
Teaching reading tabs, maintenance, and rhythm guitar allows me to build a solid foundation for every student. Watching someone transform from a nervous beginner into a confident musician keeps me committed to this craft.

My approach relies on the 8.0 point progress tracking system to ensure you hit specific milestones regularly. We will look at your tuning, technical habits, and rhythm feel during these meetings to ensure steady growth.
My background at the Sydney Conservatorium helps me explain complex theory concepts in simple terms. I provide a monthly recorded review of your progress to keep your practice focused between our meetings. These videos allow you to see your technical improvements clearly over time.
