About Selah
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance and Audio Arts after years of focused learning in instrumental music, composition, and creative sound production during my academic studies. During the past 10 years, I have guided students from different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve through personalised instruction and supportive mentorship. Teaching guitar allows me to combine creativity, communication, and artistic expression in a deeply meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident musicians through engaging and practical lessons.
My teaching style focuses on flexibility, patience, and balanced musical growth. Some students improve best through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others respond more naturally to improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adjust lessons according to each learner’s confidence level, comfort, and artistic goals. Along with technical development, I help students strengthen rhythm awareness, listening ability, expressive playing, and performance confidence. Building a welcoming and motivating learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.
Outside teaching, I continue practising guitar, exploring different music genres, and studying educational techniques that help keep lessons inspiring and engaging. Music remains a strong source of creativity and emotional expression in my life. One of the most fulfilling parts of teaching is seeing students become more expressive and self-assured throughout their musical journey.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students strengthen technical skills while developing confidence and creative musical expression through practical and engaging learning sessions. I teach chord transitions, rhythm control, finger coordination, strumming techniques, improvisation, and tone shaping using exercises that feel approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include fingerstyle practice, ear training, timing exercises, solo development, and musical interpretation activities that help students improve naturally through regular practice. I create a supportive learning atmosphere where students feel comfortable experimenting creatively while building strong technical foundations. Every lesson supports both musical progress and artistic individuality together.
Beginners focus on posture, tuning, rhythm counting, and simple chord patterns through organised routines and patient guidance that build healthy playing habits gradually. Intermediate learners improve smoother transitions, expressive control, improvisation ability, and fingerstyle coordination through guided exercises and practical studies. Advanced students strengthen advanced rhythm techniques, stage confidence, solo interpretation, and performance preparation through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, personality, and musical goals so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning journey.
Learning guitar should feel exciting, meaningful, and rewarding. I encourage students to appreciate steady improvement while building confidence through supportive feedback and regular practice. Many learners become more expressive and independent as their musical understanding develops naturally over time.
