About Alice
San Juan streets echo through the wooden body of my guitar each time I practice. My fingers dance across the fretboard while I recall the rhythm of my homeland. I earned a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy and have spent 13 years refining my craft. Teaching allows me to share these sounds with self-taught players wanting structure, intermediate learners, and kids.
My background blends academic rigor with the raw emotion of Latin performance. I enjoy how playing bridges the gap between different cultures for my students. Working with diverse learners keeps my own creative spirit vibrant and active.
Guiding someone through complex blues progressions is a highlight of my week. It brings me genuine joy to see a student find their voice on the instrument.

Usually I admit that music theory feels intimidating until we apply it to a real song. My lessons integrate acoustic technique and strumming patterns to build a foundation that actually lasts. Having finished a Diploma of Music, I emphasize the connection between technical precision and musical expression.
We spend time on improvisation and soloing to ensure you understand why specific notes work over certain chord shapes. These sessions rely on my 13 years of experience to solve common hurdles that stop many learners from progressing. Everything we practice serves a purpose in your development as a confident performer.
You will find that my approach prioritizes your ability to play music rather than just memorizing scales. I look forward to seeing your own style emerge as we work toward your musical objectives.
