About Charley

Absolute beginners often worry about hand positioning, but I make it feel natural. My 13 years of experience allows me to simplify complex concepts like music theory or blues progressions. I taught 388 students to find their own sound on the fretboard.
Holding a BM Guitar degree from Concordia University gives me the technical foundation to explain exactly why a chord shape works. I love seeing a student finally nail a difficult barre chord after weeks of practice. Sometimes the best progress happens when we step back from the sheet music.
