About Lila
My love for guitar began early with a fascination for melody, rhythm, and musical storytelling. I pursued a B.Mus in Guitar Performance and Contemporary Music, gaining both performance experience and pedagogical knowledge. Over 11 years, I have taught learners of all levels, helping them develop technical skills, expressive interpretation, and musical confidence.
I teach with patience, encouragement, and attention to individual goals. My methodology combines structured exercises, repertoire study, and creative improvisation to ensure students develop both competence and artistry. I focus on fostering self-expression, musical independence, and performance confidence alongside technical mastery.
Outside teaching, I actively perform, compose, and explore new musical styles. Teaching guitar is deeply rewarding because I witness students transform their abilities, gain confidence, and develop a personal connection to music. Seeing learners discover their unique musical voice is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.

Advanced learners work on complex repertoire, advanced improvisation, arranging, and performance preparation. Each session combines guided practice, reflection, and feedback to ensure steady progress and skill consolidation.
Guitar lessons also cultivate creativity, patience, and self-expression. Students often gain confidence performing individually or collaboratively, and they develop a personal musical voice.
