About Gianna
My love for guitar began when I discovered how six strings can carry both rhythm and melody, creating endless possibilities for storytelling through music. This passion led me to earn a B.Mus in Contemporary Guitar, alongside a Diploma in Performance Arts, where I developed both technical mastery and expressive performance skills. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students in building confidence, creativity, and strong musical foundations.
I believe guitar learning should feel inspiring, supportive, and personal. My teaching approach balances structure with freedom, helping students master technique while also encouraging artistic expression. I focus on clear explanations, patient correction, and practice strategies that make progress feel steady. Whether students want to play casually, perform on stage, or develop songwriting skills, I adapt lessons to their goals.
Outside tutoring, I remain deeply connected with music through live performance, composition, and continual exploration of new styles. Teaching guitar is rewarding because I see students grow from beginners into confident musicians who can express themselves boldly through sound.

In my lessons, I combine technical development with creativity, guiding learners through finger strength, clean transitions, strumming patterns, melodic phrasing, and expressive tone shaping. I focus on making each session engaging and encouraging, using real-world music references and playful exploration so students feel inspired rather than intimidated. Learning guitar becomes a journey of confidence, where progress feels personal and meaningful.
Lessons are carefully personalized for each student’s level. Beginners build foundations through comfortable chord shapes, rhythm stability, basic picking, and simple songs that create immediate joy. Intermediate learners strengthen their skills with barre chords, improvisation basics, solo phrasing, bending techniques, and vibrato control. Advanced students explore expressive lead guitar, stage presence, songwriting support, and refined tone shaping through advanced repertoire. Every class includes structured practice guidance, supportive feedback, and motivation to keep growing.
Guitar lessons also build patience, creativity, and self-belief. Students often discover that music becomes a powerful way to express who they are. My goal is to help learners feel confident not only in technique, but also in their ability to play with emotion, freedom, and individuality.
