About Seth

I am a passionate guitar instructor with a Master’s degree in Music and over 7 years of teaching and live performance experience. My musical journey began in my early teens, and what started as a hobby quickly evolved into a lifelong commitment to mastering the instrument and sharing that knowledge with others. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students—ranging from young beginners to experienced players looking to refine their skills. I strive to create a learning environment that is encouraging, structured, and responsive to each student’s individual pace and goals. My approach blends discipline with creativity, helping students not only improve but enjoy the process of learning. My teaching style emphasizes foundational skills such as technique, timing, and theory, while also encouraging self-expression through improvisation and songwriting. Whether you're interested in acoustic fingerstyle, electric lead playing, or simply learning your favorite songs, I tailor my lessons to suit your musical interests and ambitions. Outside of teaching, I stay actively involved in the music community through performances, studio collaborations, and ongoing study of new styles and methods. I believe that learning the guitar should be an inspiring experience, and my goal is to help every student grow into a confident, versatile, and passionate musician.

About the lesson

Improvisation, songwriting basics, and ear training are gradually introduced for students ready to explore beyond the basics. You'll also learn how to read chord charts and tabs, build setlists, and even prepare for performance if desired. Practical tips for practice routines and gear usage are included to support your growth outside of lesson time.
