About Daniel
Music keeps me grounded when the smell of old pine wood fills my studio during a quiet afternoon. Having earned a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy in Sydney, I enjoy helping people connect with the songs they actually want to play.
Teaching guitar for 8 years allows me to observe how different minds process complex rhythms and chord shapes. My past work includes guiding 200 students toward finding their own unique voice on the fretboard.
These sessions revolve around learning songs, understanding why they work, and building the physical technique to play them cleanly. I find real joy in seeing someone grasp a difficult concept after weeks of steady practice.
Being part of the Big Day Out generation means I appreciate music that has grit and soul. Many of my students are adults who appreciate a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to the fretboard. Most people find that a casual vibe makes the learning process feel natural and approachable. I currently spend my weekends searching for rare vinyl records in Adelaide shops.

Getting started often requires a free trial session to assess starting level before we commit to a path. This initial meeting serves as a baseline to ensure we focus on the skills that matter most to you. Whether you are a returning learner or a self-taught player seeking structure, I help you decode the music you love. My background at JMC Academy helps me explain theory and ear training without making things overly academic.
We will tackle barre chords, electric technique, and improvisation at a pace that keeps you engaged. Bringing those songs to life requires a bit of grit and some solid practice habits. I look forward to working through the details together.
