About Mia
You will find yourself improvising and soloing with total confidence by the time we finish our first month. My approach balances electric technique with the soul of Argentine folk. Because I have 13 years of experience, I know how to break down complex scales and modes into manageable pieces. We also look at chord transitions and strumming patterns that make your songs come alive.
As an added bonus, I provide a monthly recorded review of your progress to keep you on track. This helps you visualize exactly how far you have traveled. Let us get your guitar journey moving toward the stage.

Music found me through the rhythmic strumming of my family kitchen table. 13 years of playing and teaching have shown me that rhythm is a language we all speak natively.
My BA in Music from the University of Melbourne provides the foundation for my approach. I guide students from absolute beginners to performance focused players who want to master flamenco. Connecting with my students feels like welcoming family into my living room. See you soon for a strum.
