About Malinda
"Sitting in the recording booth after a long tour, I realized that sharing my knowledge of guitar was far more rewarding than any solo performance. My time at the Queensland Conservatorium earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance gave me the technical tools to break down complex concepts like scales and modes or fingerpicking.
I often work with students on strumming patterns and music theory, including reading tabs and sheet music. Transitioning from basic chords to barre chords feels much easier when you have a clear plan for your left hand. I find great satisfaction in guiding students through these movements."

"Steady pacing is the key to mastering difficult chord transitions and lead guitar lines without becoming overwhelmed by the theory. I provide immediate feedback on your technique to ensure that you are building good habits from the very start. Because I hold a degree from the Queensland Conservatorium, I can adapt my teaching to suit 40 students who want to turn their song requests into manageable, simplified arrangements. We check your progress frequently to keep the momentum going during our time together.
