About David

I'm a Colombian pianist, guitarist, singer, composer, and music producer with over 15 years of experience in performance and more than a decade in music education. I hold a Master’s degree in Music from Sergio Arboleda University, specializing in Jazz Piano, Popular Music, and Latin Rhythms — though my passion for pop and rock has always shaped my creative journey. I'm known for my versatility across instruments and genres, effortlessly moving between Latin grooves, religious music, classic rock, and contemporary pop in both English and Spanish. My teaching style is polished, engaging, and deeply personalized. I've developed a modern methodology that blends music theory with practical application, supported by digital tools and custom materials that help students learn at their own pace. Whether you're learning piano, guitar, or voice, I bring you clarity, structure, and joy to every lesson. Always adapting to your goals and musical identity.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music, specialized in Jazz Piano, Popular Music, and Latin Rhythms, and yes, guitar has always been one of my favorite tools for musical expression. With over 15 years of experience performing and 10+ years teaching, I’ve explored a wide range of genres: Latin, religious music, Classic Rock in English and Spanish, and today’s pop hits, all through the lens of the guitar. I’ve developed a modern, personalized teaching method that adapts to your goals, musical style, and pace. Whether you’re just starting out or want to refine your technique, we’ll build a week-by-week plan focused on Rhythm, Harmony, and Melody — always with your favorite genre at the center. Classes are online via webcam, using top digital tools and custom video materials so you can practice anytime, anywhere. Your goals become my goals and I’ll be with you every step of the way. Cuento con más de 15 años de experiencia como intérprete y más de 10 años enseñando, explorando géneros como ritmos latinos, música religiosa, rock clásico en inglés y español, y los éxitos pop del momento — todo desde la guitarra. He desarrollado una metodología moderna y personalizada que se adapta a tus metas, estilo musical y ritmo de aprendizaje.
