About Matthew
My name's Matthew! I've played guitar for over 15 years now and have taught a wide variety of students from all walks of life.
I started teaching after becoming confident in my abilities and learnt Music Theory. I found a lot of Music Theory to be very difficult and boring and found ways to make it more interesting and really get the ideas stuck in your head!
I am self-taught, enjoy all kinds of music but I'm best at Metal music. I teach because I don't want students running into issues that took me a long time to figure out because I wasn't professionally tutored.

I have taught Guitar to a plethora of students ranging from 8 years old to 80. I am friendly, patient and listen well ready to overcome any obstacles! Typically, a lesson goes for 1 hour, but some students opt to do 2 hours.
