About Thrisha
With 12 years of experience on cello, 6 years on saxophone, and 3 years on tuba, I've spent over two decades dedicating myself to a wide range of instruments. This deep and varied musical journey has given me a comprehensive understanding of different playing techniques, musical styles, and the unique challenges of learning each instrument. My extensive background means I don’t just teach from a textbook; I teach from a wealth of real-world experience. I can offer you insights and strategies that only come from years of hands-on practice. Whether you're interested in the melodic intricacies of a string instrument, the expressive power of a woodwind, or the foundational strength of a brass instrument, I have the knowledge to help you succeed.

Personalized, One-on-One Instruction: I believe every student is unique. We'll work together to create a learning plan that fits your specific needs, interests, and pace. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques, my lessons are tailored just for you. A Solid Foundation in Music Theory: Beyond just playing songs, I'll teach you the fundamentals of music theory. This knowledge will not only make you a better singer or guitarist but will also give you the tools to understand, analyze, and even write your own music. Supportive and Encouraging Environment: Learning a new instrument can be challenging, but it should also be fun. I foster a patient and supportive atmosphere where you can feel comfortable making mistakes and celebrating every small victory. My goal is to inspire confidence and a lifelong love of music.
