About Hunter
Music captured my attention early through the scratchy records my parents played on Sunday mornings. You might be struggling to bridge the gap between basic chords and the fluid lead guitar playing you hear in your favorite tracks.
My training at the VCA gave me a deep understanding of scales and modes that goes beyond simple memorization. I combine that technical knowledge with the songwriting focus I refined over 10 years of playing. Tuning and maintenance are vital parts of the process I share with students who want to sound their best. Keeping your gear in top shape helps you spend more time playing and less time troubleshooting electrical buzz.

Custom backing tracks so students can practise soloing at home make these sessions feel incredibly rewarding. Truthfully, I often get lost in the jam session myself. We work on your own songs to see how lead guitar elements fit into a larger arrangement. Sometimes we keep it simple.
These 406 students have helped me refine how I teach electric technique to keep things moving. I love hearing the moment a student finds the right melody over a progression we built together.
