About Sutton
"Developing guitarists often struggle with the gap between bedroom practice and live performance. I admit that even after 11 years of teaching, I still get nervous before a big show. My foundation comes from my Master of Music in Music Performance at the Australian National Academy of Music.
I focus on songwriting, scales and modes, and tuning and maintenance. Lead guitar and electric technique form the core of my sessions. You can expect a practical approach that prioritizes real musicality over dry theory."

"Do you ever find yourself struggling to keep time when you play alone? This is why I provide custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home.
My goal is to make your progress something you can clearly hear. I apply the same principles I used on stage and in the studio over the last 11 years.
We use backing tracks to solidify your timing and phrasing. These sessions will help you bridge the space between your bedroom and the stage. You will develop a genuine connection to your instrument through consistent and deliberate musical application."
