About Martina
With more than 9 years of experience teaching Guitar, I focus on providing supportive, goal-oriented lessons for college students. My teaching approach balances skill development, creativity, and confidence-building while making learning enjoyable.
I teach chord progressions, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, and songs while simplifying music theory so it can be immediately applied. Lessons also include backing tracks, recordings, and interactive exercises to make practice effective and fun.
Over the past 9 years, I’ve guided students to master complex pieces, perform publicly, and develop their own musical style. My goal is to create lessons that are inspiring, motivating, and tailored to each student.

My teaching methodology is student-focused, practical, and supportive, especially designed for learning Guitar. I believe that music is best understood when it connects to real life, so I use real-life examples and simple case studies to explain guitar techniques, rhythm, chords, and music theory. Instead of only teaching notes, I help students understand how guitar is actually used in songs, performances, and everyday practice.
I begin by understanding the student’s level, interest, and goals. Some students want to play songs for enjoyment, some want to perform, and others want strong technical skills. Based on this, I create a flexible learning plan. I explain concepts clearly and encourage students to ask questions freely. Good communication helps remove fear and confusion, especially for beginners.
Integrity is an important part of my teaching. I give honest feedback, correct mistakes patiently, and guide students step by step. I never rush lessons and ensure that students build a strong foundation in posture, finger placement, strumming, and timing.
I also use practical exercises, song-based learning, and small challenges to improve confidence. Along with Guitar, I can teach relevant subjects like basic music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and practice techniques. My aim is to help students enjoy learning Guitar while developing real skills they can use confidently.
