About Erica
"Playing music started for me as a curiosity that grew into a lifelong dedication to the craft. I completed my Diploma of Music at JMC Academy after years of focused study and practice. The Australian Latin music scene has been my primary home for 8 years of live gigging.
I treat music as a language that connects families and communities across the suburbs. My teaching style remains rooted in traditional methods while staying flexible for the individual. I have 13 years of experience in total.
Sharing this knowledge with the Latin diaspora remains a genuine joy for me. You are in safe hands with a mentor who values precision and soul."

"Focusing on the mechanics of the instrument helps students gain true control over their sound. Sometimes the hardest part is simply starting the right routine.
I integrate barre chords, tuning and maintenance, reading tabs, reading sheet music, songwriting, power chords, fingerpicking, scales and modes, acoustic technique, and grade exam prep into the curriculum. Practice. This is the core of my teaching.
A practice module is provided with every lesson to keep momentum high. I look forward to seeing your progress on stage."
