About Zoya

I am a passionate guitar tutor with 6 years of teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree in music. My journey with the guitar began over a decade ago, and it quickly became more than a hobby—it became a lifelong pursuit. My background includes both formal training and real-world performance, giving me a well-rounded perspective that I bring into every lesson. I specialise in various styles including acoustic, rock, pop, and blues, and I emphasise skills like chord transitions, rhythm, and lead guitar techniques. My own playing experience includes solo and band settings, songwriting, and recording, all of which enrich what I can share with my students. I aim to make each lesson a space for discovery, not just repetition. What drives me as a tutor is seeing students connect with music in a way that feels personal and empowering. I strive to create an environment that encourages questions, exploration, and confidence.
