About Nate
I am 29 years old and have been playing guitar since I was 13. I've loved all sorts of music growing up, as my parents were into all sorts of music and I had older siblings that were also into a different range of music. I've learned to appreciate all music even if it's not my favorite. This makes me a good teacher in that I can encourage you down whatever musical path you desire. There is no musical judgment here.

My name is Nate and I am located in San Diego, CA. I give online lessons from home. I would love the opportunity to help you on your musical journey! My theory is that you have to develop the love of guitar first in order to make progress and have it stick. I like to start with finding out about your musical interests and what inspired you to even learn guitar in the first place, and then build on that. My goal is to emphasize not only learning through practice, but also learning through creating. I encourage students to start creating their own songs early in the process. I specialize in teaching beginners. Whether you've never picked up a guitar before or you're just trying to get past the basics, I'll help you build skills at your own pace. Learning guitar does not have to be intimidating and music theory is not a requirement for guitar. Let's get started!
