About Greg
I started playing guitar at the age of 7, and completed up to Grade 8 in the Trinity College London syllabus. I completed a 3 year Bachelor of Music in NUI Maynooth, before obtaining a Masters in Composition.
Aside from teaching guitar I work as a performer, composer and videographer.
Music and art is my deepest dearest passion.

I have been teaching since 2010, the same year I qualified from university. I have experience teaching total beginners up to advanced classical guitarists. I have also taught beginner ukulele group classes, lectured in an Irish university teaching Composition, Ensemble and Artist Development modules, and have also given tutorials and workshops in classical arrangements, string quartet writing and songwriting.
The guitar lessons are usually 45 minutes (but I have some 30 min and 60 minute students).
I cater for each students standard, style, ambition and level of interest. Although I believe it is important to read the musical score it is not essential or a prerequisite as I am more than happy to teach chords and tabs. I want students to fall in love with music and embrace its transcendental quality.
