I am a professional guitar tutor with over 20 years experience in the feild. I teach at several schools in the metropolitain area. Over the years many of my students have attained a high level of musicianship, some going onto continue their studies and become career musicians.

Learning to play a musical instrument at an early age can enhance many aspects of a child's life. The disciplined structured practice in music strengthens various brain functions and allows a child to apply those strengths to academic, social and emotional activities.
Musicians often have higher levels of executive function, which involves multitasking, strategising and a heightened focus to detail. Musicians have been found to create, store and retrieve information faster and more efficiently.
