About Lixue
Lixue Lin-Siedler is an East Asian zither musician. Since she was 9 years old, she has been learning the Chinese zither 'Guzheng' under Ms. Li Baojun after school from Wang Zhongshan, a virtuoso of the Chinese Conservatory. She has been learning the koto, the Japanese zither, and traditional singing since 2014 at the Leo Kestenberg Music School under Makiko Goto and Naoko Kikuchi. Since 2011 she has appeared as a soloist in embassies and cultural centers as well as at events such as Unicef benefit concerts and intercultural music festivals. Through collaborations with artists and directors, she is familiar with the stage in the theater as well as with appearances in galleries and museums. She organized cultural workshops and various taster courses for children and young people.

Lin has been offering Guzheng classes in Berlin since 2012. She is kind and patient in teaching, especially for teenagers. Her main teaching methods and materials follow Masters Lin Ling and Wang Zhongshan. She organizes rehearsals and student concerts every year so that students can improve themselves by performing for the public. Depending on the interests of the students, she teaches traditional Chinese pieces as well as popular music.
Classes are available for beginners to intermediate or advanced students. Young people are particularly welcome.
The language of instruction can be German, English, Chinese or Japanese.
