About Jonasz
Hello,
I am Jonasz, from Southend-on-Sea, Essex. I completed the International Baccalaureate a few months ago, getting 36/45 points and a 6 in Higher Level German, with a 7 (the highest grade) on the writing paper.
Having spent two weeks working in a kindergarten in Germany, and travelling there every year to see friends and family, I have first-hand experience with the culture and people. I bring this experience into all of my lessons.
As I've recently finished exams, and having done the GCSEs a few years ago, I know how to prepare for the exams and handle the pressure.

I take an honest, but encouraging approach with my lessons. I find it is best to give clear feedback and have high, but realistic standards when teaching a language. In my experience the best teacher is one who pushed me hard because they really care. I will always support my students but I will be honest about their mistakes.
Lessons will focus on the student's weaknesses, with grammar and vocabulary always present. I use exam-style questions and past papers to get students familiar and confident with the exams.
I am flexible with my lesson lengths, but I think lessons around an hour are best.
I've tutored philosophy during my time in sixth form, and I often help my brother or friends with German work. I achieved a 6 for Higher Level German in the International Baccalaureate, with a 7 (the highest grade) on the writing paper.
I adapt my teaching style to every student, and I can tutor Key Stage 3 to GCSE for all exam boards.
