About the lesson
Hello! My name is Hannah and I'm a very enthusiastic and patient Maths and Physics tutor. I have a Physics degree from one of the top UK universities and have been tutoring privately for around 3-4 years now. I very much enjoy teaching and feel that a fun, friendly and calm attitude is crucially important when tutoring maths and the sciences. I am extremely organised and come well prepared before any lesson and specialize in tutoring students who lack confidence in certain areas or who find maths a confusing subject, I love the challenge of trying to explain something in as many different ways as needed. I'm also very able to prepare a student for any in school or national examinations. Maths and physics is not a spectator sport and so lots of practice questions will be given, marked and any problems discussed.

About Hannah
Since graduating from University I've been tutoring part time for 3 1/2 years and it has been immensely enjoyable and rewarding. I've had a couple of younger students under 12 who needed extra help with the basics of arithmetic, fractions and geometry as well as several older students who were working towards national exams. These students passed with flying colours and felt extremely prepared when going to sit their exams having done many a practice paper with me.

My rates are as follows:
Sciences/Maths at Primary Level: $25 p/h
Physics/Maths at Secondary Level: $30 p/h
Physics/Maths at Senior Level: $35p/h
Cancellation Procedure:
If you need to cancel a class please do so within 24 hours so that the time can be used for someone else.
If the class is cancelled within 1 hour of the class commencing only any transport fares will be charged ($5).
Lesson Packs:
If the class is cancelled within 24 hours then no charge will be made, otherwise 50% of the class will be charged.
