I base my classes around certain areas of the body, for example hips, and create the class on this theme. Otherwise I access the client in a private session and ask whats been coming up and I then create a class to resolve that issue. I like to offer the class using lessons in life; talking about how to use yoga and meditation in daily life.
I have been a hatha/vinyasa yoga instructor for the past 9 years. I studied a 200 hour yoga teacher training with Flo Fenton in 2010 and started my own school in the Southern Highlands for 4 months, then moved to Bondi for a year and then the majority of my classes thereafter have been group classes Antigua, Guatemala for 3 years and also private classes in the Sydney area which allowed me to use my skills of tailoring a sequence for the clients needs.
I have a strong meditation practice, which started from my yoga teacher training and then taking the 10 day silent Vippassana meditation really applified my interest in this area, which I like to incorporate into my classes as well.
