About Lex
Two years ago, I was one of the very few students to have graduated my high school with high honors in all subjects, and to have been involved in many extracurricular activities and after school programs (which included Yearbook, ASB, Student Ambassadors, M.E.C.h.A, and Archery). During my Junior and Senior year of high school, I was the president of M.E.C.h.A (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán). In M.E.C.h.A I always had fun activities planned during our meetings and after school, while most of our members would be speaking fluent Spanish almost the entire time. I am also about to enter my second year of University.

During my lessons I will not only make sure my students will understand what we are learning, but I also make sure to include daily grammar, spelling, tildes and accent marks, reading, writing exercises and assignments. I will teach you Spanish regardless of age, gender, race/ethnicity, or level of proficiency in Spanish. All lessons will be held online through Zoom as I am a full-time University student and I have a part-time job. I will have more availability during summer, so lessons will most likely take place Monday-Friday. I am still working on my availability times. If you are interested in learning with me place include what days, times, and how long you can meet with me. I will also chat with you about your level of proficiency in Spanish, and what you want to learn more (spelling, grammar, speech, reading, or writing). With this in mind, I will create an outline of what your personalized lesson plan (with daily activities, exercises, and assignments) will look like during our conversation. All daily activities, exercises and homework will be held through Duolingo. :)
