About Tony
I am an ex-surgeon. I retired in 2016when my wife died. This period as a surgeon gave me my exposure to teaching. I began my music
journey at the age of 15 and this has progressed since then. I have been able to tutor other musicians and ensembles.

I have had extensive teaching experience over the last 40 years as a Surgeon. I have mentored and tutored Medical Students and Surgical Trainees. I have been a senior lecturer in a number of College of Surgeon courses. I have also taken their courses on educational theory, adult learning, and coping with problem candidates (both in performance and behavior.) Initially I will attempt to define the student's level of education and knowledge then focus on the expected outcome and their strengths.
