About Petrus
I am a teacher with a wealth of experience. I am in possession of a Primary Teacher's Certificate, Adult Basic Education and Training, National Professional Diploma in Education, Advanced Certificate in Education as well as a TEFL [Teaching English Foreign Language] certificate. 90% of the learners that I taught were isiZulu speakers and in contact with English and Afrikaans for the first time and this posed many challenges which me and my learners successfully overcame with great success.

I always use an integrated approach. Do not confine myself to one teaching method. The methods used are determined by the needs of my learners. Proficient in both English and Afrikaans and can code switch to isiZulu should the need arise. My preference of students are the ages of 10 to 15 years since my teaching preference is grade 4 to grade 9 learners.
