I believe you just need to stay on top of the subject you are trying to learn. Don't get behind and have to struggle. My strategy is to make sure my students do their work on time and do it correctly.
I tutor students as young as 6th grade through College Algebra. Every level of algebra builds on the pervious level so you need a solid foundation.
