I want to be there as a tutor who celebrates your success as often as I teach you concepts. In the past, I have helped students go from F's to A's in math classes, and that is a celebration of the student rather than the tutor. With over 200 hours of experience, I know I will have a teaching method that will stick with you and help you understand the material. The most important skill in tutoring is being able to explain concepts in several different ways. I typically try to listen for what my student is struggling with and help them understand by explaining the issue from multiple unique perspectives. I also teach with examples and mini concept-review sessions to help with understanding the material. My lessons are targeted at middle and high school students.
