About Elizabeth
My name is Ms. Grant. This is what a majority of the people I know call me. I have been in education for 20 years now. I have taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I have taught in a large number of school districts throughout McHenry and Lake Counties here in Illinois. I have been the manager of a tutoring company. I have privately tutored and tutored through companies for 22 years. I have my teaching certificate and a Master's in Mathematics Education. Currently, I am a math teacher at the high school level.

I know that writing can feel like the most difficult task out there (aside from math, lol)! I understand that the "most difficult" part of writing comes from organizing your thoughts and making those thoughts make sense or convey your message in a clear manner. I have successfully taught middle school and high school students how to write. My 4th-grade students learned the fundamentals of good writing and were eager to continue on their journey! I am an energetic teacher/tutor who is here to help!
