About Rebecca
I sometimes struggled at school, I found answering exam questions really challenging. My teachers in school didn't give me the help I needed when I faced difficulties. However, from this I know what makes good teacher and what makes a bad teacher too, and I aspire to provide students with the support and encouragement that I didn't receive when I was younger.
I have since gone on to study a foundation degree in biological sciences and gain a first class degree in Zoology which is far beyond what I believed myself to be capable of when I was in school. I would love to inspire others like me that they are capable of achieving their goals even if they aren’t getting on so well in school.

Hi there!
I am a 23-year-old BSc Zoology graduate from the University of Plymouth.
I am a friendly individual, motivated to make my lessons understandable, the one goal being that my students come away feeling more confident about the topic than they were before. I like to cater to each individual, finding a learning style that suits them and setting different tasks from this to reach their own goals. I believe success isn't measured through grades but by how far you grow as an individual!
My tutoring sessions can range from 30minutes to 2hours, dependant on the individual needs of my students.
I have a certified DBS check and have 2 years prior experience in tutoring online during the Covid pandemic.
