About CAMERON

I am a long time guitar tutor having taught privately as well as in schools. During this time I have taught students of all ages and abilities. Most have been looking to play for fun while others have gone onto study music at university. I have also played in bands for a long time.

About the lesson

Bandwagon Music Lessons is a well-organized teaching school where the emphasis is on you learning how to actually play and understand your instrument.
I combine a perfect mix of fun and training so that you develop as a musician while enjoying your music.
I will teach you to understand the common techniques for your instrument through exercises, drills and example songs. Then you can apply these skills to songs of your own choice.
The lessons are for beginners right through to the more serious musicians, and work for all ages - kids, teenagers, young adults and not so young adults.
The lessons concentrate on the goal of getting you to play your favourite songs/styles.
Learn to play from an experienced and friendly teacher. I've also had a lot of experience playing in bands.
The two main aims of Bandwagon Music Lessons are -
1. for you to play songs that you choose yourself.
2. and for you to understand what you are playing.
To meet these aims I use specially prepared booklets, computer assisted lessons, a computer home practice kit as well as specially written song charts. My’ dedication to helping students understand their instrument meets these aims.
