About Shruti

I am a student pursuing MBBS and I have been teaching since 3 years.
I have given home and online tuitions to students of class 11 and 12 for biology and organic chemistry. And to the students of class 9 and 10 for the science subject . I have taught to students of both boards ICSE and CBSE and also for NEET and OLYMPIADS. I am actively participating in research sessions and I am a certified in food and nutrition course from the Cornell University in order to get the idea and sense more about our human bodies and it's response to nutrition and lifestyle so as to treat the lifestyle disorders like Diabetes,Hypertension,PCOS, PCOD,Hyper or HypoThyroidism etc. not as a doctor but only through diet and lifestyle changes with the doctors advise so that slowly and steadily the medication is reduced.

About the lesson

I teach biology in a way so that students can have first hand experience of the topic and they can relate it to their daily lives or something that they already know. I focus initially in having the basics of the topic clear and slightly and slowly moving to the core of the chapter. While leaning biology ,language is never a barrier. And in between there are interactive session between me and student by asking and putting loads of questions to get the clarity. There are tests of every topic including diagrams, labellings,fill ups, matches ,mcqs, one word and subjective questions so that the student is ready in every way possible. And then revising the chapter actively by making flash cards.I teach each and every line of NCERT and give the student idea that they should also read it as if examiner is going to ask a question out of that line. So every line becomes a potent question. This is journey and in this phase the students get transformed learning to get at their best potential.Separate doubt sessions also included. Students might be asked to make notes for the classes and revise them before the beginning of another class. I am beginning to understand that the teacher’s greatest gift to the learner is helping the learner be motivated to think,and then to want to learn more.
