I believe in giving an overview of the chapter first and then start explaining topic by topic. I also make sure the child does all the questions in the class so that I can assist him/her properly. I give regular homework and there are questions of a high level as well, so that the kids can challenge themselves. I take regular assessments and share feedback with students and their parents. I have take time to know the kid as all kids have a different way of learning and understanding and I keep that in mind while explaining topics.
