About Ann
Experience is often measured by hours spent, but I prefer to count the moments where a student finally grasps a difficult concept. Most people think math is about calculation, but I know it is about systematic problem-solving strategies.
Having navigated my own path as an MD Candidate, I know how to teach mental math and arithmetic under pressure. I have worked with 103 students across 5 years to simplify calculus and coordinate geometry. Whether teaching an absolute beginner or a working professional, I keep the focus sharp. Math is a language that requires constant practice.
I enjoy seeing the relief on a face when a complex word problem becomes manageable. It keeps me energized to keep teaching these core skills daily.

Lessons are rarely comfortable because I push you to think past your initial comfort zone. We move from foundational arithmetic into algebra and trigonometry using a systematic, exam-focused framework.
My background as an MD Candidate helps me demonstrate how these patterns appear in data and medical modeling. Kids and professionals alike find that my high-intensity style produces faster results than slow, traditional methods. We hit the hardest problems first to build your endurance for the final test. Success is inevitable when you apply this level of rigor to your homework.
