About Catalina
"Sometimes I find that the most beautiful voices are hidden behind a wall of unnecessary tension. My own path began in Bogotá where I learned that singing is a physical extension of your heritage. Over the last 13 years I have supported 381 students ranging from absolute beginners to advanced learners. My Diploma of Music from JMC Academy provides the technical framework for the vocal freedom I share today.
Whether working with teens or adults I adapt to the unique resonance of each individual. I rely on my background in Latin music to teach phrasing that feels natural and deep. You will find that my lessons prioritize a steady and kind exploration of your capabilities. I promise to keep our work grounded in the traditions that make vocal performance honest."

"If we think about the way you shape your vowels we can start to see where the resonance naturally sits. I guide students through warm-up exercises that I record specifically for your home practice. These routines allow you to develop pitch control and belting technique daily.
We address stage fear management by building your performance confidence in a safe space. Sight singing becomes much clearer when we focus on rhythm and phrasing together. Vocal range extension happens as we remove the physical blocks holding you back.
I prepare students for exams with the same care I give to hobbyists. It is truly a joy to hear the tone improve session by session. Let us see what your voice can do."
