About Zalina
Holding a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy has shaped my life as a guitar player. Have you ever wondered if the soul of an instrument lies in its origins?
I moved from Santiago to Australia 13 years ago to share the rhythms of my culture. Since then, I have taught 409 students ranging from kids and teens to absolute beginners.
My 6 years of experience focus on performance-focused students seeking authenticity. I keep my tradition-rooted techniques sharp for every session. Guitar is my identity. It is wonderful to see students connect with these melodies.

Many beginners struggle to coordinate their hands during complex strumming patterns. This issue is common when learning acoustic technique or blues progressions. I fix these technical gaps using my degree and 6 years of experience. We practice fingerpicking and electric technique with a focus on music theory.
You will learn to express yourself clearly. It is direct and essential work. My approach honors the roots of the music I play. I love watching students find their own voice.
