About Tamila
Music exists to be heard, and I teach to share the mechanics of sound production. I remember the exact moment a student first mastered a difficult bowing technique shift.
My Master of Music from Sydney Conservatorium of Music supports my 8 years of experience guiding pupils through classical repertoire. We cover tone production, vibrato, and complex scales and arpeggios. My background allows me to assist students ranging from nervous beginners to grade-exam candidates. I want to help you reach your musical destination.

Adjusting the curriculum happens by watching the bow arm move during the first 5 minutes. Spiccato and staccato bowing require constant assessment of physical tension. I have 8 years of experience observing how ear training changes a student performance. It is a slow process.
