About Ethel
Success in English comes when you stop translating in your head and start thinking in the target language. I have to admit that the most common mistake students make is focusing on rules instead of actual patterns. Before we start our first session, I provide a diagnostic level test to ensure our time is spent targeting the areas where you need the most growth. We will utilize my MA TESOL resources to tackle writing skills and professional accent softening.
I draw on my experience to ensure that your interview preparation is rigorous and realistic. My lessons are structured to move you from theoretical knowledge to real world application. We will spend time identifying the nuances of academic English to help you excel in your exams.

I hold an MA TESOL and BA degrees that inform how I break down phrasal verbs and accent softening techniques into digestible components.
