About Jennifer
I taught in UK Secondary, Primary and Special Schools for over 20 years. Now I am a Permanent Resident in Hobart and have recently registered with the Teacher's Registration Board Tasmania and have Employment and volunteer status registration with Working with vulnerable people until next July for both.
I have extensive experience of teaching, tutoring and research in education and have added a network of people, organisations and volunteering opportunities in Hobart, including Enterprize, a start-up Hub, and Volunteering Tasmania, for wider links to skills and career development and employment and volunteering opportunities, as well as creating your own business, startup or group. As we move from the age of information to the age of the individual I believe in discovering the most effective ways to connect people to technology and education to follow their passions and expertise.
I have a particular interest in ethics, equality and social justice for a more inclusive, fairer world.
I hold and foster a positive mindset in order to see and enjoy the benefits of lifelong learning in order to support and inspire you to fulfil your considerable potential in a state, national and international setting.
