About Adam

I’m a dedicated Maths teacher and current Head of Maths who believes every student can succeed with the right support and clarity. I’ve taught for eight years, and I’ve spent the last three leading a high-performing department at an independent school in Cardiff. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy, and I aim to make students feel comfortable, understood, and able to ask questions without pressure. Outside the classroom, I’m a dad to energetic twin toddlers, and balancing family life with teaching has only strengthened my patience, empathy, and appreciation for helping others learn in a calm, structured way. I look forward to supporting students in building confidence and achieving their goals.

About the lesson

As an educator, I focus on making students feel calm, supported, and confident. My lessons are tailored to each learner’s goals, whether that’s strengthening core skills or preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams. I break topics down clearly, build understanding step-by-step, and adapt explanations to suit different learning styles. Sessions are paced to reduce pressure and help students grow steadily in both competence and confidence. Qualifications: Maths graduate from Cardiff University; 8 years’ teaching experience, including the last 3 years as Head of Maths at a prestigious independent school in Cardiff.
